After co-creating the successful “Killer Nerd,” its sequel “Bride of Killer Nerd,” and lesbian serial killer effort “Girlfriends,” Wayne Alan Harold went solo for a pair of projects featuring MTV star Toby Radloff: “Townies,” a lo-fi, black-and-white ‘magnum opus of CineTrash’ shot for a mere $300 using Hi8 and Digital8 camcorders, and “Genuine Nerd,” a look at the life and times of Radloff in the wake of his brush with Hollywood fame in “American Splendor.”

Welcome to Schlarb, Ohio...a small town overrun by misfits, freaks and weirdos! Dickie (Toby Radloff) is a lonely dumpster-diver who finds companionship in his latest discovery...a young woman’s corpse! Pricey (Lori Scarlett, “Ozone”) is a mute girl with a lookalike baby-doll. When she loses her doll after an unsavory encounter, she replaces it with the next best thing —her neighbor’s young son! Meanwhile, the enigmatic Caduceus sets out to cleanse a nasty high school girl of her wicked ways.

Painstakingly restored from the archival DVCAM edit masters, Tempe Digital resurrects “Townies” and “Genuine Nerd” with even more vintage bonus material!
